Detail Aid

Detail Aid

Detail aid is a printed booklet, brochure or an electronic document containing product information, usually relating to its efficacy, tolerability, dosing and administration together with clinical trial data supporting the manufacturer’s claims. Generally used by pharmaceutical representatives, this is a marketing tool incorporating creative elements such as photographs, slogans and brand logos.

Recently traditional detail aids are being replaced by electronic applications delivered via dedicated applications (see: eDetailing).
